Methodology

Calculation Methodology

Calquivo calculators are designed around clear inputs, transparent formulas and understandable results.

Formula Logic

Calculation logic is separated from the page interface so formulas can be tested and reused consistently. Calculator pages explain the main formula or method in plain language.

Dates, Rounding and Currency

  • Date-only calculations use date helpers to reduce timezone mistakes.
  • Money values are formatted using the selected currency, but no exchange-rate conversion is performed.
  • Results are rounded for readability while calculations use the underlying numeric values.

Validation and Testing

Inputs are validated to avoid invalid numbers, impossible negative values and division-by-zero results. Unit tests cover every calculator engine, including representative edge cases for dates, overtime, discounts and unit conversion.

Limitations

Some real-world results depend on contracts, employer policies, tax rules, payment terms or local regulations. Calquivo shows these limitations where relevant and should be used as an informational tool, not professional advice.
